You didn’t get into tourism to be a content creator

Somewhere along the way, things changed and society shifted. We went from mailers and newspaper ads to short-form videos and algorithms that change more than the weather forecast.

It's hard enough to keep up when you're in the marketing world — but when you're busy building a tourism empire, the last thing you have time for is a Facebook post about the tour you just poured all your energy into.

That's where I come in. Wish You Were Here Social was born from that exact pain point. I'd worked my way around the tourism ecosystem and kept finding myself handling the marketing for the overwhelmed owners who trusted me with their tours. And I realized early on that I had something a lot of marketing agencies don't: the inside view of what our crazy, chaotic, ebb-and-flow world actually looks like.

I want to use that to bridge the gap between how good your tours are and how quiet you've gone online. The reviews are there (and they're glowing). The guests love your guides. But between bookings, insurance, the weather, your team, and all the logistics that go into a well-oiled tourism machine, the marketing falls to the bottom of the list.

At WYWH, I want you to keep doing what you're great at — telling the untold stories, showing off the wonders of your corner of the world, and logging a memory into the mind of everyone you meet. I'll make sure your story gets told, while you go tell everyone else's.
